With one voice is a film based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning report on the Harvey Weinstein case that was featured in The New York Times. Currently, the production has 164 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, of which 143 are positive and 21 are negative. This gives a score of 87 percent good reviews, with an average rating of 7.5/10.
Critics praise the performances of the production’s main characters, played by Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan. The actresses combine the journalistic, professional style of their characters, who are persistent investigators, with their family life and everyday dilemmas in a very good way.
In addition, journalists consider the production very valuable because it presents the topic of how the #MeToo movement was created and shows it from the perspective of injured women.

However, critics consider the film a beautiful tribute to journalistic integrity, depicting the painstaking work of the main characters who work hard on the subject, calling their sources and trying to find access to the victims and get them to talk.
In negative reviews, we can read, among other things, about the colorless background. One of the journalists even wrote that some characters, such as the husbands of the main characters, could easily not be in production.
The director of the picture is Maria Schrader (Unorthodox), and screenwriter – Rebecca Lenkiewicz. Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan portray Twohey and Kantor, respectively. The cast also includes Tom Pelphrey, Patricia Clarkson, Andre Braugher and Samantha Morton. Plan B Entertainment, owned by Brad Pitt, is responsible for the production.
