Chris Hemsworth debuted as Thor in the 2011 movie, and this adventure lasted at least until 2022, when we got the premiere Thor: love and thunder, which is the fourth installment of the adventures of the god from Asgard. The ending in the latter movie was open-ended, but it could also be the culmination of Thor’s story in the MCU. However, is there a chance that Hemsworth will return in the fifth part or in another project?

In an interview with Total Film Magazine, Hemsworth spoke about his experience working on Netflix’s upcoming movie, Tyler Rock 2 and how he handled some of the hardest stunts of his career. Speaking about the intricate stunts he had to perform in this film, Hemsworth also mentioned that he would like to use it in a Marvel movie if he ever returns to his role.

It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m not exaggerating. At the end of the shot, you’re gasping for air like never before and everyone is on their knees. But it is much more satisfying. I’d love to take that style and integrate it into a Marvel movie if I ever had to do another.

Recall that in the movie Tyler Rock 2 an action sequence shot in one take was announced, lasting over twenty minutes. While Hemsworth neither confirms nor denies his return to the MCU, it does line up with his earlier words that any return to the character of Thor would have to bring something new, and who knows, maybe we’ll see one-shot action sequences in the MCU someday. in which Thor will be able to prove himself.
