Thunderbolts – MCU movie on hold. The writers’ strike is blocking again

As reported by Deadline, Marvel Studios has suspended work on the MCU superproduction titled Thunderbolts. They decided to delay work on the set due to the ongoing writers’ strike. Shooting was supposed to start in Atlanta in three weeks, but today, according to the portal’s sources, the crew was informed that work would not start until the strike ended.
MCU – Writers’ Strike Affects
This is the second MCU movie to be suspended by a strike. Previously, the same was done with pale, which was supposed to start shooting in June 2023. Apparently they did with the series Wonder Man, which was filmed in Los Angeles. In any case, work will resume after the end of the strike, but it is speculated that it may even last until the end of the year, and this will force major delays in the prime minister.
So far, work on an increasing number of series has been put on hold. And the next weeks of the strike will mean that there will be more and more similar decisions. If the strike lasts for a really long time, the 2008 strike could repeat itself. At that time, televisions were forced to shorten or cancel many series due to the strike and the increasing costs of delays.
