The Witcher – Dolph Lundgren joins the cast of the Rats spin-off. Who can play?

Netflix tried to get a big name for the spin-off of the series The Witcher. Just as Henry Cavill was announced in the premiere season, so later Michelle Yeoh was the star of the first spin-off titled Blood lineage. The new production in the world of The Witcher from Netflix will focus on a bunch of Rats and here too there will be a big name in the cast. The Redanian Intelligence portal reports that the ranks of the production have been added Dolph Lundgren.
The actor is expected to play a key role in the series, but details have not yet been revealed. Redanian Intelligence correctly predicts that it may be about Leo Bonhart, a bounty hunter and powerful mercenary whose sword fighting can be compared to the best witchers. His every appearance in the books gives you goosebumps, and it has to be said that if Lundgren actually plays the part, it’s a casting call. At the moment, however, these are only speculations, but if they turn out to be accurate, we should expect Lundgren to reprise his role in the 4th season of the main series.

The Witcher – what will the series about Rats be about?
The rats in Andrzej Sapkowski’s books are a band of robbers who experienced the horrors of war at a young age and thus lost their moral compass. Ciri comes across the Rats in a difficult moment for herself and becomes a member of the gang. Earlier, on the occasion of casting announcements for The Witcher’s 3rd season, it was announced that Christelle Elwin would play Mistle – one of the most developed members of the gang in the books. The events in the spin-off will likely precede what we’ll see in season three when Ciri meets the Rats.
