The Witcher – a creator aware of criticism. Will it fix the Yennefer plot in season 3?

Creator the witcher, who also serves as showrunner for all seasons, was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly. In conversation Lauren Schmidt Hissrich she said she had read a lot of criticism of the Yennefer arc in Season 2. It had to do with how they moved away from the books and did something that the fans didn’t like and didn’t fit the character.

She decided that what fans criticize in season 2 is a plot problem for them to solve.

“I read, ‘How could you do this to these characters? They’ll never be able to forgive her.’ This is already a story problem for us.

She suggested that somehow this issue would be fixed. She also added that the romantic relationship between Yennefer and Geralt in Belleteyn will be rebuilt.

The series will debut on Netflix on June 29, 2023 and it will be the first part of the season with 5 episodes. The second is set to appear on July 27 and will contain episodes 6-8.
