In September 2020, it was announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released for next-gen consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. Later, however, it became silent on this subject for a long time and only now we have a specific release date. Fortunately, the wait is slowly coming to an end, because the improved edition of the highly rated RPG from CD Projekt RED will debut later this year, specifically on December 14. People who already own this title on the “old” platform will be able to take advantage of the free update option.
Unfortunately, no details of the changes and improvements have been revealed so far, although we can probably expect nicer graphics, much shorter loading times and a smoothness of 60 frames per second. We will get to know the details next week, then the gameplay of the new version will also be presented.
The next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming on December 14th, free for everyone who already owns the game.
