The Punisher in the MCU! Jon Bernthal is officially back!

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher. He will make his MCU debut in the series Daredevil: Born Againin which he will partner Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and Vincent D’Onofrio. All three men played their characters in Netflix series based on Marvel comics, which are not part of the movie universe. Cox and D’Onofrio have already returned to their roles in Patron of She-Hulk and Hawkeye. Jas the information is provided by THR, it is not considered a rumor!

Daredevil: Born Again – what do we know?

Work on the set will start in March 2023. The series is directed by Matt Corman and Chris Ord. The first season will have 18 episodes.

Recall that Jon Bernthal made his debut as the Punisher in the series Daredeviland then had his own solo series Marvel’s The Punisher. Both productions do not belong to the MCU, but the details of the plot of Frank Castle’s introduction to the universe are not known.

However, not everyone returns to their roles from previous series. As far as we know, Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) will not appear on the screen. Rumor has it that he will return Kristen Ritter as Jessica Jones, but no confirmation yet.
