The Powerpuff Girls and other series canceled. The CW abandons projects

As reported by TVLine, series powerpuff girls, Justice U, Jake Chang and an untitled project about a female Zorro were canceled by The CW. Those titles that had been in development for many months were completely abandoned. The new head of The CW Brad Schwartz revealed that they gave them to the studios that developed them. They can do whatever they want with it and sell it to whoever they want. At the moment, it is not known whether there are such plans.
The Powerpuff Girls – the history of the series
Originally, the station began work on the live-action version in 2021. A pilot was filmed, but it was so bad that it was dropped and the project was to be rebuilt. Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, Yana Perrault, and Donald Faison were set to star.
Justice U – End of the Arrowverse
Justice U was supposed to be another spin-off Arrow about the character played by David Ramsey. As the Arrowverse is ending and rather all series are to be canceled, it is not surprising that this project was abandoned.
The Zorro woman is not a surprise either. The project was created by Robert Rodriguez, who received a lot of criticism for his work on The Book of Boba Fett, and his latest film Hypnotic was a commercial and artistic flop.
