The official publisher of the manga drawn by AI has been found. The case is controversial

Graphics generated by Artificial Intelligence do not lose their popularity. This new trend raises many questions about copyright and ethics, as the work of many artists around the world is used without their consent to “feed” the system with images. In this light, the information provided by ComicBook.com is certainly interesting. The portal claims that a Japanese publisher intends to publish a manga drawn thanks to Artificial Intelligence.
ComicBook.com relied on an update from the creator of the manga, who you can find on Twitter under the name @Rootpoot.
Artificial Intelligence – A manga drawn by AI
Rootport wrote that it will be collaborating with Shinchosha, and publisher Bunch Comics will publish the experimental manga on March 9, 2023. The creator used AI software to create the comic, from scratch to detail. He also promised that when the entire volume is released, he will share behind-the-scenes information on how Artificial Intelligence was applied to this project.

The first graphics certainly have a cyberpunk vibe. In his comic, Rootport intends to retell the story of Momotaro, a character from Japanese folklore. The manga begins with an elderly couple finding a mysterious boy outside a strip club in Neo Okayama. It turns out that the kid has valuable information with him, and Momotaro – in this version of Peach John – will be tasked with protecting the data from enemies.
