The New Terminator – James Cameron has started writing the script. Further work depends on… AI

How about a new movie in the series terminator? Though last week Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that he is definitely done with the franchise, it looks like another of the fathers of its success is still on board, James Cameron – and to a much greater extent than we could have imagined. At the end of last year, the director revealed that talks on rebooting the series are underway, but no official decisions have been made yet. Now, however, the creator has added another brick in an attempt to raise hopes for the return of the famous screen machines.
Cameron attended the Dell Technologies World event yesterday. It was during this meeting that he revealed that he had already started working on the script for a new film in the series 3 months ago. Soon after, however, he added that he would return to these works in the indefinite future, wanting first … to see how artificial intelligence will develop in the real world. The filmmaker did not share any other details.

Recall that James Cameron was the director and co-author of the production’s scripts terminator from 1984 and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Except for the movie Terminator: Dark Fateon which he worked as a producer and was listed in the credits as the author of the script materials, he had no influence on the fate of the other installments of the series.
