The Mandalorian – Polish cartoonists created the official posters of the 3rd season. Fans delighted

Polish artists are part of the global Disney project related to the premiere of season 3 The Mandalorians. The creative challenge for Aleksandra Jasionowska, Patryk Hardziej, Izabela Dudzik, Maciej Polak, Jakub Kamiński and “Bobuk” was to create a poster interpretation of Mandolarian helmets. As a result, unique projects were created that combine the style of the series with local motifs from various regions of Poland. When preparing them, some of the best representatives of the new generation of poster artists were inspired by the specificity and iconic elements of Polish cities and regions – Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań, Gdańsk, Lower Silesia, and Podhale.
The key to the selection of artists was their strong embedding in the regional culture, which allowed to give each project a unique aesthetic. In their works, the illustrators were inspired by selected cities and their most characteristic elements. Thanks to this, on the Warsaw poster you can see e.g. mermaid. The design in Gdańsk shows a reference to the Baltic Sea and the fountain of Neptune, while the design in Poznań could not miss the goats. The inspiration for the Łódź artist was the industrial character of the city, for the Wrocław one – the iconic pattern of Bolesławiec pottery. In turn, the Podhale poster contains a reference to the Tatra landscapes and highlander folklore.
