The Little Mermaid – photos of toys and figurines show King Triton and Ursula

Little Mermaid tells the story of the titular mermaid Ariel, who wants to get to the surface to the human world to meet Prince Eric, whom the heroine saved after a shipwreck. To this end, Ariel makes a deal with the sea witch Ursula. In exchange for his voice and tail, he gets human legs. However, it soon turns out that this deal has very unpleasant consequences.

Photos of Funko POP! toys and figurines have been posted online, which show us, among others, King Triton and Urszula, i.e. characters whose appearance has not yet been fully revealed. We also have Ariel and Prince Eric, of course. see:

The cast of the production includes Halle Bailey, Jonah Hauer-King, Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, Awkwafina, Javier Bardem, Melissa McCarthy. The picture was directed by Rob Marshall. The screenplay is by Jane Goldman and David Magee.

Little Mermaid – the film premieres in US cinemas on May 26, 2023.
