The Last of Us – there will be a 2nd season. Decision made!
The Last of Us breaks popularity records, so the announcement that there will be a 2nd season is not a surprise. This is a formality that the viewers of the series have been waiting for, which was completed after the broadcast of only two episodes. The hit based on the game of the same title will be continued, but the number of episodes has not been revealed.

After what this crew achieved in season one, I can’t wait to see them surpass themselves in season two,” said Francesa Orsi, HBO Programming, Head of HBO Drama Series and Films.
And this is how Neil Druckmann, creator of the game and co-creator of the series, comments:
