The Last of Us – Episode 2 of the series confirms the fan theory about the origin of the virus
WARNING: THE TEXT CONTAINS SPOILERS!

The Last of Us is a series that is an adaptation of the cult game from Naughty Dog. The production collects many very enthusiastic opinions. In the original, we do not find out where the virus that led to the catastrophe actually comes from, rather the players collect clues and suggestions to paint a picture of the annihilation. After the 1st episode of the series, it was theorized that the virus could be in the flour, and that Joel and Sarah did not become infected because they did not eat the products in which it was found.
Episode 2 seems to confirm this theory. At the beginning, we see scenes from Jakarta, where patient zero appeared. It turns out that the workers of the flour factory were infected. So most likely the virus in the series spread from the flour.
In addition, the second episode on HBO was watched by 5.7 million viewers, which is 22 percent more than the premiere episode of the series.
