Ted Lasso – Jason Sudeikis Confirms Season 3 Story Ending. Will there be spin-offs?

Ted Lasso is one of the most popular series on the Apple TV+ streaming platform, which will return with new episodes of season 3 already March 15, 2023. As in previous series, episodes will be uploaded to the site every week. In total, the season will consist of 12 episodes.
According to many previous announcements, season 3 is to be the last for Ted Lasso. Jason Sudeikis, who plays the title character and is the creator and writer of the series, has said several times that the story has been written into three series. It seems that the situation has not changed, but it is possible that there is a chance to see Lasso in a different form. Here’s what he told Deadline:
I mean, there’s always a cameo, right? This is the end of the story we wanted to tell, hoped to tell and loved to tell. The fact that people will want more and be interested in something beyond what they don’t already know about season 3 is flattering to me. Maybe after May 31, when all the episodes of the season air, they’ll say, “Man, you know what, we get it – it’s okay. We don’t need more – we get it.” But until that time comes, I appreciate the curiosity beyond what we’ve come up with so far.
The actor’s further statement suggests that there is a chance to continue the story in spin-offs.
Yes, I think we’ve set the table for all sorts of people… so they can watch the rest of these stories unfold. Again, I can’t help but take this question as flattery for what everyone who worked on the show was trying to do. It’s really nice that people think about it because you never know what will happen when you create something. The fact that people want more, even if it’s the other way around, is wonderful.

After the events of Season 2, things start to fall apart on and off the pitch. AFC Richmond will become the target of media attacks and speculation as to whether they will manage to stay in the Premiere League. Nate has moved to West Ham United where he works for Rupert, the former Rebecca. Roy Kent, on the other hand, will not only be the team leader, but will also become an assistant coach along with Beard. Ted, on the other hand, will struggle with professional pressure and problems at home.
In addition to Sudeikis, the cast includes Hannah Waddingham, Anthony Head, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Toheeb Jimoh, Cristo Fernandez, Kola Bokinni, Billy Harris and James Lance.
