Star Wars: Andor – Genevieve O’Reilly points to the biggest change from season 1

Star Wars: Andor is one of the best rated series in the Star Wars universe and many viewers and critics have no doubt that it is the highest quality series. Season 2 is therefore eagerly awaited, and it was previously announced that the new installment will feature a four-year time jump, while the first season takes place over the course of a year.
In an interview with Playlist, the star of the series, Genevieve O’Reilly, the series’ Mon Mothma, talked about the biggest change in the upcoming second season. It turns out that the creators had more threads planned in case the series was to get more seasons. Ultimately, however, it was decided to close the story in two seasons, and the second is called “juggernaut” by the team. She added that it was great to be involved in the shooting of the season, where every three episodes we skip a year.
I think it’s exciting that every three episodes we jump forward a year because it drives the narrative in a unique and deeply compelling way. It was interesting to be part of the previous and current seasons and see the difference. In the storytelling as well as the structure of how you tell the story.
