Spider-Man: Through the Multiverse is a continuation of the Oscar-winning animation Spider-Man Universe from 2018. In this epic new adventure, Miles Morales, the friendly Spider-Man from Brooklyn, will travel to the multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and the new Spider-Man team. They will face a villain more powerful than they have ever faced.
Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe took off from the multiverse, the 2018 animation opened viewers to the possibility of heroes meeting countless variants of themselves. But then we had a movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which Peter Parker meets two other versions of himself, which resembled the motifs from the aforementioned animation.
