ATTENTION! THIS CONTENT IS A RUSSIP, SO IT MAY BE TRUE, BUT IT MAY NOT BE TRUE.
New reports about Spider-Man’s situation and Sony’s ties to Venom come from the Heavy Spoilers channel, which creates reliable content, and their reports have proven themselves more than once. However, we still treat it as a rumor until someone officially confirms it.
Venom – Spider-Man was about to appear
We read that Sony Pictures planned to be in the movie Venom Tom Holland will appear as Spider-Man, but… Marvel Studios did not agree to this and categorically refused. They add that in Sony’s contract with Marvel, which was signed in 2019, there was a stipulation that Sony films can only connect to the MCU, and the MCU will not connect to the Sony universe, so it goes in one direction. Therefore, in Spider-Man: No Way Home you could show Venom in the post-credits scene, but not Spider-Man in Venom necessarily under this clause.
Spider-Man with a black suit?
Marvel Studios originally planned to build a black suit story into the Spider-Man movie. It was even implied in the film’s post-credits scene No way home. According to Heavy Spoilers, that plan changed with launch Venom in 2018 and as a result, this idea has been abandoned for the moment. They add that in Spider-Man 4 the issue of the symbiote and the black costume will not be touched at all, but they want to introduce the theme itself, but at a later date.
For now, it is not known exactly what the new adventures of Spider will be.
