Spider-Man: Across the Multiverse – The Movie Struggled During Production?
ATTENTION! THIS CONTENT IS A RUSSIP, SO IT MAY BE TRUE, BUT IT MAY NOT BE TRUE.

Spider-Man: Through the Multiverse is a continuation of the Oscar-winning animation Spider-Man Universe from 2018. In this epic new adventure, Miles Morales, the friendly Spider-Man from Brooklyn, will travel to the multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and the new Spider-Man team. They will face a villain more powerful than they have ever faced.
In the second installment, therefore, there will be many new characters and elements that the fans of the first game have fallen in love with. However, there have been reports that not everything was perfect behind the scenes. Matthew Belloni revealed on his podcast The Town with Matthew Belloni that there were numerous issues behind the scenes. According to his information, many scenes from the film were reworked, and this led to an increase in production costs, which are much higher than those in the first one.
Belloni briefly says that “they had a lot of problems with this movie”, and also mentions that many scenes were dropped and a lot of things were re-created during the making. The writing duo Lord and Miller were to write them on a regular basis.
Of course, Belloni’s information should be treated as rumor or unconfirmed information, but it’s worth recalling that Spider-Man: Across the Multiverse was initially supposed to premiere in April 2022. Ultimately, the release date was changed, so maybe it was just due to production difficulties. You also have to keep in mind that this is an extremely ambitious project due to the number of characters and different animation styles, so we’ll see how it finally turned out soon.
