Spider-Man: Through the Multiverse is a continuation of the Oscar-winning animation Spider-Man Universe from 2018. According to his information, many scenes from the film were reworked, and this led to an increase in production costs, which are much higher than those in the first one.

Belloni briefly says that “they had a lot of problems with this movie”, and also mentions that many scenes were dropped and a lot of things were re-created during the making. The writing duo Lord and Miller were to write them on a regular basis.
