SkyShowtime – list of new original productions. The Polish series and Poker Face are on the list
Monty Sarhan, CEO of SkyShowtime, during a speech at Cannes revealed which original productions, produced in Europe, will go to the service in 2023 and 2024. Check out these and other top titles below.
It will debut on the streaming platform Codename: Annika, the first original series from Scandinavia. It will be a crime production that will tell the story of the Finnish investigator Emma, who undercover infiltrates an auction house in Stockholm. There will also be a thriller on the site Poker Face – finally in Poland – about Natasha, who knows when someone is lying. This allows her to solve various criminal cases.
Another exciting title is Los Enviados, which will present the fate of two priests who investigate the miracles of potential saints. The heroes will encounter a unique case in Mexico that will put their faith to the test. The walls of a psychiatric hospital will hide a long-standing, terrible secret. It’s an interesting project for sure Djangoa series loosely based on Sergio Corbucci’s cult film about a man seeking revenge against those who murdered his family.
There is also a Polish series on the list Varsovianin which viewers will be able to follow the 40-year-old playboy (played by Boris Szyc), trying to understand the modern world. In addition, a Czech-Slovak family comedy will also debut on SkyShowtime The Winner about a politician who decides to give up his career to focus on his family life. There will also be another comedy on the site, Mentiras Pasajerasabout a woman whose whole life is turned upside down a month before her wedding.
There will also be a Spanish series on SkyShowtime Forest Invisibles about a group of maids who are trying to change their lives so different from those of the guests of the luxury resort where they work. A biographical series will also debut barefoot about the legendary singer Miguel Bose. Can’t forget about either The Cursethe SHOWTIME® series, in which a couple trying to conceive falls under a supposed curse that will make life difficult for newlyweds.
Apart from that Leek H o leek B will return with season 2.
