Scream 6 – Ghostface haunts public places. Unusual movie promotion

The Scream VI promises to be a new opening of the series, because for the first time it moves the events from a small town to the big metropolis of New York. As part of the promotion, it was decided to make a rather bold move so that passers-by could feel the presence of Ghostface on the streets of the cities.

In the week leading up to the film’s release, Ghostface was spotted in various American cities, including Sonoma (where the fictional town of Woodsboro is located) and New Orleans. It will not be surprising that the appearance of a mysterious figure on the streets of cities caused anxiety and resulted in emergency calls to the services. Ghostface’s official Twitter account picked up surveillance footage and photos of him with the caption “I’m watching you.” see:

Scream 6 – plot description

New York. New rules. In a city of millions, no one will hear you scream… After brutal killings have once again rocked their hometown, the four surviving heroes leave legendary Woodsboro. They want to start a new chapter of life. They move to New York, a dynamic, big city full of people, which is supposed to help them forget about the dark past. However, Ghostface will give New York one more reason to never fall asleep.
