The Sympathizer – what is the series about?
The story takes place in the last days of the Vietnam War, i.e. in 1975. The protagonist is a man called The Captain (Hoa Xuande), who is a French-Vietnamese spy living in Los Angeles.
The cast also includes Fred Nguyen Khan, Toan Le, Vy Le, Alan Trong and Sandra Oh. Behind the camera of three of the seven episodes is the famous Park Chan-wook. Famous is responsible for the implementation studio A24 known for their outstanding, quality titles.
The release date is unknown.
