PlayStation and LeBron James collaborate on limited edition accessories for PlayStation 5
PlayStation presents the limited edition PS5 console cover and DualSense wireless controller, designed together with sports icon, philanthropist, entrepreneur and representative of the PlayStation Playmaker program, LeBron James. LeBron co-designed the PS5 console lid and DualSense wireless controller, both of which are covered in personal images and sayings that have meant a lot to him throughout his career.
Here’s a word from LeBron about what the collaboration means to him:
It’s still amazing to me to think that a kid from Akron who grew up playing games gets the opportunity to create something like this. Designing a console lid and a PlayStation controller that is a nod to my I Promise students and where we come from is pretty cool. I hope this is something that continues to inspire anyone who touches it, and that they have some fun finding meaning in every detail.

From his basketball record to his extraordinary efforts for his community, LeBron is an inspiration to many. This is the first of the PlayStation Playmekers to collaborate on the design of limited PlayStation products. LeBron’s vision became a reality and showed his passion for games and communities.
