Penguin – new details of the Batman spin-off series. The great role of Sofia Falcone and other characters
We already know that the series Penguinwhich will eventually debut on the HBO Max platform (or its successor), will be a spin-off of this year’s film Batman directed by Matt Reeves. The production is to consist of 8 episodes, and its action takes place between the events shown in the on-screen story from Robert Pattinson in the title role and its sequel. The Illuminerdi website has now provided new details about the upcoming project.
As reported by the portal in the series The Penguin Sofia Falcone will play an extremely important role (her role will be played by Cristin Milioti), the daughter of the already killed Carmine. After nearly a decade, she is about to be released from Arkham Asylum, where she was imprisoned by Oswald Cobblepot himself. Burning with a lust for revenge, the woman will turn into a ruthless, unscrupulous antagonist whose next moves are difficult to predict. The Illuminerdi confirms that Sofia will be the sister of Selina Kyle aka Catwoman.
Also entering the main arena of events will be Alberto Falcone, described as:
An addict struggling with his own demons, which makes his new task – he will be the head of the Falcone mafia family – extremely difficult. He is not prepared for his new role in Gotham.
Milos Grapa, consigliere of the Falcone family, and Johnny Viti, a troubled cousin, will also appear in the series.
