What do we know about the announced prequel? Blood Of My Blood will consist of ten episodes. The series will show Jamie’s parents love story, that is Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser. Matthew B. Roberts, who serves as showrunner and executive producer, revealed that the plot will be about how far a person can go looking for love in times when it is considered a luxury good, and marriage is mainly an economic and political decision, and not from the heart.
That’s not all: apparently there will be many familiar and loved faces from the original in the series Outlander. So maybe we won’t have to say goodbye to all the heroes definitively.
