Nintendo will not appear at E3 2023. The company confirms previous leaks

At the end of January, IGN reported that the big three of the gaming industry, i.e. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, will not be present at E3 2023. Now the giant from Kyoto has decided to confirm it and the official announcement has been sad news.
Nintendo did not give the exact reasons for withdrawing from the Electronic Entertainment Expo, but it can be expected that the company will continue to reveal its plans as part of the Nintendo Direct series, i.e. online presentations that appear on its channels on the web.
We approach each event individually and always consider different ways to connect with our fans. Since this year’s E3 didn’t fit our plans, we’ve decided not to attend. Despite this, we have been and will continue to support ESA [Entertainment Software Association – przyp. red] and E3.
Nintendo made its last “physical” appearance at E3 2019. Two years later, the company held an online presentation as part of E3 2021.
