Netflix versus account sharing. Fight entered Poland – angry users

If you share a Netflix account with people who don’t live with you, May 23 ends. Netflix is officially starting the fight against account sharing with people outside the household. Such people receive a special message from today and their access is blocked. The functionality entered on May 23 in Poland, the United States and many countries around the world.
Netflix – no more account sharing
The official Netflix website states:
A Netflix account is intended for use within one household. Everyone in this household can use Netflix no matter where they are – at home, away or on vacation – and take advantage of new features such as ‘Transfer Profile’ and ‘Manage Access & Devices’.
The graphic below shows the message being sent. This means that a person from outside the household must pay a surcharge of PLN 9.99. According to the American media, the lack of such a surcharge is associated with blocking access to Netflix.

The reaction was not long in coming. Users are furious and many on social media are declaring goodbye to the platform.
