Mortal Kombat 1 – Jean-Claude van Damme will appear in the game

On May 18, it was officially announced Mortal Kombat 1, a new installment of the popular and brutal series of fighting games. At the same time, it was announced that the game will feature both new faces and well-known and popular characters. Among them will be Johnny Cage, who has been present in this series since its first installment. This time, however, players will be able to see him in a slightly different edition, because it was revealed that the optional skin will make him look like Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Interestingly, the character of Cage was inspired by a famous actor from Belgium, and initially it was even planned for him to play this character. Ultimately, nothing came of these plans, but as you can see, nothing was lost – it was enough to wait 30 years.

Mortal Kombat 1 will debut on September 19 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch. Prior to this, there will be beta testing, which you can join by pre-purchasing the game.
