When asked if the villain variant will appear in the future The Avengers, he replied that if so, it would be even more stupid. He is definitely not going to listen to fans who want to see him in a more serious version. Check out his statement below and let us know what you think.
MODOK – Ant-Man 3 writer responds to criticism
When asked about MODOK’s potential performance in Avengers 5Jeff Loveness replied:
Well, if I say yes, I can promise you it’ll be even dumber. I refuse to listen to the fans on this. I’m not going to create a serious MODOK. As long as I’m alive, those four fans who want a serious MODOK adaptation won’t get it. He’s gonna be a big stupid head. That’s all.
The writer added that he will always fight for this character. He can take all the other hits and critiques, but he’s very happy with what they’ve done as far as MODOK is concerned.
All I will say is that people who are divided on this issue are wrong. I will fight for MODOK. […] I’m a huge fan of comics, and I’m sure you are too. We are online. People have their opinions. But sons of sons are wrong. Excuse me, do you want a serious version of MODOK? Get Avengers on PS5, good luck.
