The shooting is currently taking place in Warsaw’s Mokotów district, as reported by Tytus Hołdys, the host of the Facebook profile of WinyloKino. Now we have been able to determine that the cast of the film has grown by more Hollywood names. Down Kieran Culkin in Warsaw, the Oscar winner for the film has just joined LaLa Land Emma Stone and Jennifer Gray known, among others, from Spinning sex.
It should be recalled that Emma Stone is also one of the producers of the film A Real Pain.
A Real Pain – what is the movie about?
A Real Pain is the second film in Eisenberg’s directorial career. It is to tell the story of two cousins, Benji and David (played by the creator himself and known for succession Kieran Culkin) who, after the death of their grandmother, are going to Poland to learn more about their family’s history – including the history of its members who survived the Holocaust. After setting off on a journey from New York, the protagonists will visit, among others, Warsaw and Krasnystaw, located in the Lublin Voivodship. The production itself will be maintained in the convention of road cinema.
