Indiana Jones 5 – reviews
Everyone agrees that Harrison Ford He still plays Indiana Jones brilliantly. His performance elevates the film and pulls it along to a satisfying conclusion. Despite his age, the charisma and emotions built by the actor still work on the screen. There is an argument that James Mangold produced a satisfying finale that has the class of old-school adventure cinema. In one review, we read that the director managed to stir emotions and move in many moments when we come to saying goodbye to Indiana Jones. In another, the author raised the issue that the prepared story works, works and provides a lot of fun.
The IndieWire journalist leaves nothing to be desired on this video. He claims it’s an empty film-like product that was created only to be a reaction to fan complaints from the last 15 years. He accuses the film of being too safe in every way. So much so that we can never believe that Indiana is in any degree, however illusory, in real danger. All the reviews, however, criticize the weak script, which does not allow the story to get wind in its sails and take risks, because it relies too much on artificial fanservice.
Another journalist from the British Daily Telegraph called Indiana Jones 5 a shiny fake. At first glance, everything seems correct and appropriate, but the longer we look, the more we are to see the artificial pretense of what Indiana Jones should be.
Interestingly, sometimes there is an argument that the film is worse than the previous part, sometimes that it is better than Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. According to journalists, however, no one will positively compare this film to the first three parts. There is an argument that as an adventure cinema Indiana Jones 5 may be enjoyable and exciting, but there is nothing here worthy of Indiana Jones and this iconic series.
