If I had a black mermaid when I was younger, it would be amazing. My whole outlook on life would change, my confidence, my self-esteem. Being able to see someone who looks like you on screen when you’re younger? Some people don’t pay attention to it because they may have experienced it all their lives. But it’s really important.
