Gladiator 2 – Barry Keoghan is in negotiations for a role. Who will he play?

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, nominated for an Oscar Barry Keoghan is negotiating a role in a movie Gladiators 2. If all the formalities can be closed, he will join Paul Mescal, who will play the adult Lucius from the first part. According to the journalistand Barry Keoghan will play Geta, the emperor of Rome. The emperor by that name lived for real, but Gladiators 2 it’s not based on true events, just like the first part wasn’t based on true events either.

Gladiator 2 – what do we know?

Ridley Scottt will direct from a script David Scarpa. This will be another collaboration between these gentlemen. Scarpa had previously written a film for Scott All the money in the world and the upcoming one Napoleon.

Plot details are currently unknown. John Mathieson, who worked on the film, is to be responsible for the cinematography Gladiators. Arthur Max (set designer) and Janty Yates (costume designer) also return from the crew of the previous part.
