Fake Blood at Cannes. This demonstration is controversial

There have been many different protests on the red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival. Security has been stepped up this year and local authorities have banned demonstrations near the convention center where the event is taking place. However, despite their efforts, it was once again impossible to secure the festival completely.

It became famous about an unnamed woman who, wearing a dress in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, just before the screening of a French film acid at Cannes, she was covered in fake blood. She probably wanted to show solidarity with Ukraine or focus media attention on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Security immediately reacted and pulled her aside, but a video clip of the incident was posted on Twitter. You can see the video below.

There was also a protest on the red carpet Homecoming performed by a group of SCUM activists who oppose the operation of surrogate mothers.
