Euforia and The Last of Us – when new seasons? We will wait a very long time
The writers’ strike is on, stopping work on almost all series and most movies. This also affects such anticipated hits as the 3rd season of the series Euphoria and Season 2 The Last of Us. Work on both is suspended until the end of the strike, and unfortunately it does not look like it will end soon. It’s been going on for almost a month already, and there are rumors that it may even last until the end of the year.
Euphoria – when will season 3 premiere?
HBO’s Francesca Orsi has no good news. He admits that while post-production was underway idol they then began work on scripts for season 3, but they have now been put on hold by the strike. They don’t have scripts and work can’t resume while the strike is on. So they can’t move on either. Orsi hopes that the third season may appear in 2025 at the earliest.
The Last of Us – when season 2?
The same situation applies to the 2nd season The Last of Us. There are no scenarios and they cannot be created during a strike, so everything will be delayed for many months. Here, Orsi is also hoping that maybe they can deliver a 2nd season to viewers in 2025.
In both cases, everything depends on the end of the writers’ strike. If it continues for another month, then they have to analyze the situation and make decisions.
