Crew Dragon from SpaceX in pursuit of the ISS. Epic recording like from movies about space and an hour of anxiety

On Friday at At 7:40 a.m. Polish time, the Crew Dragon “Endeavor” ship belonging to SpaceX, after 25 hours and 6 minutes of flight, docked with the International Space Station. As part of the Crew-6 mission commissioned by NASA, 4 new astronauts have arrived at the ISS – 2 Americans, a Russian and a citizen of the United Arab Emirates, who in the coming months will conduct nearly 200 innovative experiments related to i.a. with the impact of prolonged stay in space on human health. Now, an epic time-lapse video has surfaced online that shows the Dragon capsule approaching the International Space Station.
The recording created with NASA materials can take your breath away. The important thing is that the docking maneuver itself was delayed by an hour – at that time SpaceX was working to solve the problem with a faulty sensor in one of the capsule’s 12 hooks, which was supposed to connect it to the ISS. Endeavor, initially shown as a gray “spot” taking shape more and more clearly, is recorded by the cameras of the then 418 km above the Earth’s surface station. Later, we have the opportunity to look at the ISS from the perspective of the capsule or even look inside it; the drama of the recording is enhanced by scenes from the mission control center, where SpaceX is working on a solution to the sensor problem.
