Warner Bros. announced that on November 22, 2022, i.e. 31 days after the theatrical release, Black Adam will hit the PVOD platforms. In other words, there will be digital access to buy for 48 hours for a certain amount. The premiere took place in the USA and many countries around the world. With the available information, the film will go to Poland on iTunes on December 5.
Black Adam – box office
The situation at the box office is not the best for an expensive show. It raised $366.9 million on a budget of $200 million. So it’s going to be hard not to lose this movie. It is also the shortest period in which a DCU film goes to the PVOD after its release in theaters. Poor results forced the manufacturer to make decisions, because in PVOD they can collect a good sum that may allow them to save the situation.
On January 3, 2023, the premiere on Blu-ray in 4K was announced. Probably in Poland it may appear on a similar date, but at the moment there is no confirmation.
Both editions will have extensive bonus material revealing behind the scenes of the show. Deleted scenes are not listed.
