Attack on Titan – a dark teaser of the third part of the final season. There’s a release date!

Since then, work has been underway to complete the story, which is based on the manga of the same name by Hajime Isayama. But we finally got an update.

The third installment of the final series Attack on Titan was divided into two parts. The first will air in Japan on March 3, 2023and the exact release date of the second one has not yet been revealed, but it will definitely appear later this year.

Yuichiro Hayashi, the dubbing director, explained the delay. This has to do with the ongoing pandemic and COVID. Currently, actors voice their characters, but they have to do it one at a time, which is time-consuming. Before the pandemic, recording took five hours, now it takes seven. The director and staff are overworked, but everyone is keen to get the job done right.

Along with the announcement of the premiere of the new episode, a dark teaser announcing the rest of the story was also made available. We see the Rumble and the terror brought by huge titans stomping on people. A young Eren also shows up. See below.

For the final season Attack on Titan is the responsible MAPPA studio, which also deals with several other large projects such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man and The Vinland Saga. The latter anime can be watched on Netflix, where new episodes of the 2nd season are released every week.
