Ant-Man 3 – Jonathan Majors responds to criticism and writer defends ending

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania is one of the less rated Marvel Cinematic Universe projects. Not only the CGI effects are criticized, but also the script and many other factors, which we recently scored in our pages. There was also the character of Kang, who, according to some viewers, is too serious and does not fit the convention of the film, and it was noted that his motivations are too abstract.
Jonathan Majors decided to respond to the critical words in an interview with The Wrap, indicating that he respects MCU fans and comic book fans, so he does not see it as pressure from them, but as support.
I also respect Stan Lee and his vision, thank you, I’m honored to be a part of it. Kudos to Kevin Feige too, for all they’ve done, the art they’ve created. So the point is to change your view of it and see it not as pressure, but as support.
He then added that the haters will always come, even if things are done right, so he continues to focus on being respectful and open-hearted about his work.
The screenwriter of the production also responded to allegations about the ending of the film, Jeff Loveness. According to some fans, the end of the show should be stronger, maybe someone should die or at least get stuck in the Quantum Realm. However, the screenwriter points out that it has already happened.
In a way, I love the ending we finally have. I hear what people say, but I feel like if you just trap Ant-Man in the Quantum Realm again, it’s exactly the same thing that happened at the end of the second movie, and getting out of it is exactly what happens in Endgame .
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania – Corey Stoll looks MODOK
Corey Stoll in the first Ant-Man from 2015, he played the role of Daniel Cross, also known as Yellowjacket. He fell in battle with the title character and was imprisoned in the Quantum Realm. This, by the way, led to the deformation of his body, thanks to which we owe his highly comic and absurd appearance in Quantomania. How did the actor like it?
I laughed hysterically, but it’s also deeply disturbing. If you ever get a chance to see your face warped and placed inside a little rocket wheelchair, you’ll know how I feel.
The actor also added that he really likes the last scene with MODOK’s dedication. He claims that it is extremely Shakespearean, and MODOK can be placed next to Hamlet. It may be funny on the outside, but it’s incredibly true on the inside.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania – can Marvel be afraid of box office results?
We also have statements from two analysts who claim that Marvel Studios has no reason to worry about the financial disaster of their new film for now. Paul Dergarabedian, senior analyst at Comscore, said that the opening was really successful and beat the previous two parts of Ant-Man, which certainly contributed to the drop in the second week. The film apparently did not impress the viewers enough to recommend it to someone or decide to go for a second time. However, they decided to visit the cinemas in droves on the premiere weekend, which in itself is a reason to be satisfied.
Another analyst from Exhibitor Relations, Jeff Bock, points to similar aspects, and also says that it is too soon to pass judgments on this basis.
