Aliens – when are the shoots for the FX series?

In December 2020, it was announced that a series would be made alienset in the universe of the cult Alien film series. However, we haven’t really received an update on the status of the project for a long time. Now that has changed. Well, John Landgraf, the head of the FX station, for which the production is being created, revealed that the creator of the series, Noah Hawleycurrently working on the 5th season Fargohowever, is also in the pre-production stage of the Alien series.

Landgraf revealed that Hawley is currently writing scripts, and is supposed to meet with the production designer this weekend to talk about the project. Shooting is scheduled to start in 2023, after work on the new installment is completed Fargo.

Alien – what is the series about?

As Landgraf revealed during the TCA tour in 2022, the action of the series is to take place before the events of the cult film series. Ripley’s character will not appear in the project. He also revealed that in the production we will not see the Weylan-Yutani corporation known from the films, but a completely new one, invented by Hawley.
